Anther

Bilobed, the topmost part of the stamen that produces pollen in their microsporangia for pollination. Pollen grains contain a reproductive cell that functions as the male gamete.

Filament

Long slender stalk that holds the pollen-producing anther at its tip, making the pollen more accessible to pollinators and the wind.
