Nitrobacter Chemotroph

Chemoautotrophs, such as these nitrogen-fixing bacteria, can synthesize their organic molecules from the fixation of carbon dioxide. They can produce their own source of energy from inorganic chemicals such as nitrogen, sulfur, and iron.
