TEETH

Teeth are exoskeletal structures. They have a conical shape and no roots and are therefore easily replaced when lost. Their bites are some of the strongest on the earth.

EXOSKELETON

Provides a protective function, with the horny scales arranged in rows on the body. The scales near the tail are elevated to give the tail a large surface for swimming.
