Oxygen

Oxygen (O) is a non-metallic chemical element. Oxygen is a gas at room temperature and has no colour, smell or taste. There are 6 oxygen atoms in a glucose molecule.

Carbon

Carbon (C) is a nonmetallic chemical element. Carbon exists in many different forms, including graphite. There are 6 carbon atoms in a glucose molecule.

Hydrogen

Hydrogen (H) is a colourless, odourless, tasteless, flammable gaseous substance. There are 12 hydrogen atoms found in a glucose molecule.
