Prolactin

It is a hormone produced in the pituitary gland, which sits at the bottom of the brain. It is responsible for breast tissue development, its role in lactation, and numerous other actions needed to maintain homeostasis.

Pituitary Gland

It is a small, pea-sized gland located at the base of our brain. It is often called the master gland because it controls several other hormone glands in our body, including the thyroid and adrenals, the ovaries, and testicles.
