Spiny Dogfish

Sharks are a type of cartilaginous fish that have skeletons made of cartilage instead of bone. Squalus acanthias, commonly known as the spiny dogfish, is a type of shark. They reproduce through internal fertilization, and a yolk sac nourishes the embryos. They are generally predators, carnivorous, and eat other fish.
