Muscle

A Muscle is a contractile tissue grouped into coordinated systems for greater efficiency. Each skeletal muscle consists of thousands of muscle fibers wrapped together by connective tissue sheaths.

Fascicle

A Fascicle is a bundle of muscle fibers, also called myocytes, bound together via the endomysium tissue that provides pathways for the passage of blood vessels and nerves.

Muscle Fibre

Each skeletal muscle fiber is a single cylindrical muscle cell surrounded by connective tissue called the endomysium. Each muscle fiber is comprised of several myofibrils containing multiple myofilaments.
