Rutherford’s Atomic Model

Ernest Rutherford's (1871-1937) model shows that an atom is a mostly empty space, with electrons orbiting a fixed, positively charged nucleus in predictable paths. He named these circular paths orbits.

Electrons

Electrons are a part of the building blocks of matter called atoms. They are a negative particle in the shell of an atom. They are responsible for creating bonds between different atoms.
