Optical Prisms

Optical prisms are transparent objects with at least two flat sides that refract light. They are commonly used to split white light into its component colors, known as dispersion. Prisms are also used in optical instruments like binoculars and cameras.

Visible Light Spectrum

The light spectrum is the range of electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye, from violet to red. The spectrum is divided into seven colors, with each color corresponding to a different wavelength of light. Understanding the light spectrum is essential in fields such as optics, astronomy, and photography.
