Battery
In a circuit, the battery serves as a power source. Chemical energy is stored within it and can be converted to electric energy.
Bulb
A bulb converts electrical energy to light. When electric current flows through it, the bulb produces light.
Switch
A switch stops and allows the electricity to flow through the circuit. When the switch is OFF, the connection is discontinued; thus, no current flows. When in the ON state, the connection is complete, and electricity flows through the entire circuit.
Electric Circuit
The electric circuits are closed-loop or paths, forming a network of electrical components where electrons can flow. This path is made using electrical wires and is powered by a source, like a battery. Through the wire, the electric energy flows in the form of electrons.
