Tadpoles

Frogs have multiple stages in their life cycle: egg, tadpole, tadpole with legs, froglet, and frog. The majority of frogs and other amphibians hatch as tadpoles, which resemble fish. Metamorphosis of the tadpole larva into an adult frog is initiated to prepare them for a terrestrial existence.
